Wake up fishy! @ 9:26 AM

Whenever I feel like I'm not ready to get up I think about Darla.
Yup, Finding Nemo's Darla.
"WAKE UP FISHY, WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING?!"
Now, isn't she just a precious gem?
Sometimes I quote that movie when I'm up and bouncing
around with no one to share my energy with on most
Saturday mornings, ask Garrison, he'll answer in the affirmative.
But that's the weekend. Garrison is usually the one that's up
first on the weekdays, because of his internship.
He wakes up, showers, and the rest of his routine
I actually listed here
That's been my January, February, and March-so far.
I usually wake up thinking I said "Goodbye" but never
quite sure if it's real or a dream.

Today, however, was very different.
You see, today Garrison had the chance
to sleep in for a bit--with me!!! Because it's the last
week of the Legislative Session the rep's went home late
last night, after discussing bills and the like. So they
decided that they'd start "floor time" a bit later today
so everyone had a chance to rest. Nice, huh? I'd say!
I thought Garrison overslept and missed his carpool this morning
when my alarm went off at 7. Nope, he was just sleeping in a
bit longer because his carpool wasn't leaving until 8. Boys. Psh!

It was so great to have him home when I woke up. I really liked it.
I had the chance to play "dooting wife" and make him a bagel to
take with him on the ride up to the Capitol. Times like that really
mean a lot to me because I haven't really been the "wife" lately.
School and work wear me out. When I get home the last thing I
want to do is make dinner--that's a lie, that's the second last thing
I want to do--the first is THINK about making dinner. I know,
I'm a bad wife. I knew this would happen though. It's my last
full semester of school. Next semester will be worse. But
I'm not going to go there. I'm just glad we were able to spend
some of the morning together. I love that boy and I love spending
any amount of time possible with him. He's just wonderful.
I'm lucky to have him.
