the day I became a professional @ 2:38 PM

Today is a very important day in the life of Jenn. I guess it's a big day for the Burton family as a whole, but most importantly, I'm excited because this post is an all about JENN post and that's really exciting.

I was offered a full-time position as a Behavioral Interventionist for the Menta Group in Arizona. I'm thrilled out of my mind to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible organization and with students with Autism. Greatest blessing ever!

We've been in Arizona for about a month and (almost) a half and I've already taken a state exam, found somewhere to live, secured a full-time job, and had the most wicked sunburn ever on my stomach. I'd say that we're settling in fairly well. Blogging has been a chore and a half to keep up with but I want to make sure to document this journey in our lives because one day I'm certain I'll look back on this experience of moving to Arizona for law school and grad school and wish we could do it all over again. Though part of me wonders why I'd ever want to be a poor grad student again, I'm sure I'll miss it because there are times when I miss being an awkward teenager. Like yesterday when my little sister called to tell me she took her SENIOR pictures! Life travels so quickly and I never would've thought that I'd be where I am today, but I'm glad I am and I'm excited for what lies ahead.
