the day I became an Arizonan @ 9:36 PM
Today was filled with a lot of "to do's" before the evening set in.
First, I needed to tell my hubby happy 19 months of marriage! I still can't believe we've been married almost two years and together for almost three. I couldn't imagine life without him and I'm lucky that I won't have to!
The second item on my list of things to do was mail a few fathers some important cards. And after mailing those cards I really needed to get some pizza. Real bad. So I had to make a stop at Barro's to welcome myself back to the lifestyle of Arizona, it's only natural.
Then I needed to come home and get ready to take my drivers license photo. So I needed to get all of my documents together and get myself dressed and out the door in time to have a license before the day was out. I was worried it would take a long time because there was quite the crowd--never thought itd be so busy on a Thursday afternoon. Go figure. Long story short, I was in and out after about 45-50 minutes. It would've been shorter but the lady I gave my marriage license to wasn't sure if it was real...that worried me, but it was a legitimate license and then I was granted my legitimate AZ drivers license! It even has my new married name on it! Exactly 19 months to the day that we got married! Talk about good timing!
So now I'm officially an Arizonan. License. Voter registration. Home. Arizona has it all now. I'm grateful for that and even more grateful to share all of it with Garrison. He's such a hard worker and great lover. I couldn't ask for a better husband. Happy 19 months! Where it all started and where it's continuing!
