After conference hubby took me out to Nordstrom Rack, I know, I know, I'm spoiled! However, while we were perusing the aisles of goods, hubby stumbled upon these beauts! I am a slipper addict and I've needed a new pair ever since the fire. These were just begging to come home with me, but I felt bad splurging for them because I'm usually the one that justifies the smaller purchases, "It's only 30$." "They're only 45$." My parents used to say I was going to "$20 them to death," now that I'm an adult I guess I've upped the ante and I'm "$45 my husband to death," and I've felt a bit bad about it. So I walked around the store with these comfy slippers and then put them back and pretended I never saw them.

I guess the act of walking away from the slippers was enough of a tug at the ol' hubbys heart strings that he picked those slippers up and took them to the check out line before I even realized he was gone. Then I asked him what he was getting as I saw him and the cashier taking the price tag off the bottom of the slippers. (maybe I shouldn't have been walking around in them...) I was shocked and so happy! I just hugged him and thanked him for getting something I really have needed without saying anything. He's a great guy and I'm so lucky to have a hubby that knows me and tries to do good for me. Love that man!
