This hunk of hottie text me this morning to wish me a happy half anniversary. 

He's pretty awesome. He's also the love of my life. 

Today marks 18 months of wife status to that hunk-a-hunk of burning love. Time has flown by. This time last year he took me to the temple in SLC and then to a dinner in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was the first real surprise he had ever put together and it was beautiful. Love him!!! 

The sky looks like this today. Most people would think it's kind of sad when compared to the beautiful sunshine we had last week, but the freshly covered mountains look stunning with that dark backdrop. Unfortunately, I didn't capture that image--but trust me, it's gorgeous outside. 

We also went out for dinner tonight before Garrison went off to a bachelor party to leave me home with study materials and a few hours to kill. It's funny how priorities change after a year. I mean, he was planning a special trip this time last year, for us to have the evening together on a school and work night, no less, and this year I got a quick date in which we talked about law schools and lifestyles and then I dropped him off to an evening with friends. The burgers were good, though. We had a huge hand pressed black bean burger and had them made however we wanted. I'd say it was a great way to end the evening, having studied for 10 hours, going out to eat and NOT to take a final was a welcome treat.
