color me happy. @ 6:17 PM
When Garrison and I were dating we were so much younger. Two years younger, to be exact. And we were wild/crazy kids. ha! We did a lot of silly stuff, but it wasn't because we were somehow cooler back then, we just didn't have the jobs and responsibilities that we now have. And maybe we've become a bit too much like tight-wads that don't spend money, at all. That'll change when we pay our first law school bill. Really, this is just a long-winded introduction to the memory of the
Festival of Colors that Garrison and I attended when we were dating.
we started out like this:
then we threw color at each other and looked like this:
we were engulfed in a cloud 10x the size of this:
then we looked like this:
We were lucky to have gone to the festival that year because the weather was incredible and the skies were clearly a fabulous blue, that really contrasted our colorful sorbet resemblance. We tossed around the idea of going this year "one last time," and taking our friends Jen and Mike but Mike woke up sick the day we were planning to go and we really didn't feel up to it (the idea of sleeping in was much more alluring). Perhaps will regret it later on, but the weather wasn't as nice this weekend as it was two years ago and let's be honest, how could we possibly top these adorable pictures? Happy Spring!
