Recently we've had a rough time finding a chance to go out for a little "date night." Between school, work and sleep we just haven't been able to pick one over the other and it wasn't until this weekend that we finally let ourselves go out and have fun without regard to how late it was, or what we thought we should be doing instead. We could not have made a better decision! 

We went out to dinner at the Riverwoods--a cute little shop area near the Provo Canyon--and when we walked out from dinner we were greeted by a lovely lights display. How could you not feel like you were on the set of some new romantic film? It was enchanting, to say the least. 

It's especially enchanting when your hubby looks so charming!!! 

We splurged a little at my favorite family store, for a few "necessities" that were welcomed and christened as soon as we arrived at home. (read: things I've wanted and haven't allowed myself to buy).

Hubby got himself a wonderful apple slicer.

And I finally got my grater! It's taken us a while to start to get this whole home-maker thing under control (kind of hard to do when you live in an apartment, if you ask me). But I think we're getting the hang of it. Not to mention the thrill of shopping in a place that's lit up so beautifully is hard to resist!
