Night on the town @ 11:14 AM

Friday nights are my favorite nights. I have "early out" days on Friday, which means I leave at 1:30. The hubby works until 5pm and then we have the night to ourselves. I sometimes hate his schedule but I'm always rewarded for tolerating it on Fridays when he doesn't have to work until 10 pm and we can date.

This Friday we dated. We've been busy and school has kind of gotten in the way of our date nights as of late so we decided we'd hit the town and fast because I've been worn down and kind of under the weather this week. Sweet Tooth Fairy was just what we needed. YUM.
We picked up a half dozen and tried two when we got home. It was our first STF experience and we were excited to try them out. The raspberry lemonade was SO good and I especially liked the icing since I'm NOT an icing fan. Then we had the cheesecake and that was even better! We saved the rest for dessert. Our plan was to go to SLC to play for a bit since we never went for Gar's birthday.
First stop was to hit up the record store. Gar loves this place and I enjoy frequenting it just as much, I'll just never let him in on that or we'll probably end up making weekly trips to record find..not that I'm really complaining about the idea. I ended up finding the two records that went home with us. It made me feel like an accomplished record connoisseur, but I'm not.
Then we went to my favorite place to eat and grabbed a bite. I was pretty hungry because I devoured my pizza and then waited as the hubbs finished his up. Pig out much? Seesh. You'd think I've never eaten.
We both get  tuckered out pretty quickly these days. (No one ever told me growing up meant going to bed early!!!) We walked around the shops in SLC for a bit before calling it a night and headed home to spin some of the new tunes we got at the record shop. I think I fell asleep before the last track played. I do remember, however, telling my husband "Thank you" for the great date and kissing him on the cheek but other than that I just remember music and my head hitting the pillow.
