I think it's safe to say that adding the minor of Communication Disorders has really done something to me. When I opened up Google today and found this gem I thought to myself, NO WAY a sine wave!

Then I took a picture because I had to document it and realized (after taking the picture) that I was geeking out about something that used to give me anxiety (read: tests in the testing center). However geeky it might be, today is the 155th birthday of Heinrich Rudolf Hertz, the man who discovered/created the sine wave. I use sine waves almost daily in my COMD classes and learned a lot about Hertz last semester. Today is his birthday. I will honor his birth by doing some acoustic analysis homework.
