First few days @ 9:03 PM

Going home means spending time with the family, eating lots of yummy foods that you've yet to learn/master on your own, and shopping with Momma Bear and the siblings. Peep this mall decor!
While home we also watched far too many movies, ate too many calories and laughed harder than we should've at the silly things family members say. I'd say that's a fair assessment of time at home.
We also went to the salon to see my very favorite hair dresser. Then we surprised the cutest six year old on the face of the planet (I'm only slightly biased...but, really) in her Kindergarten lunch room with a visit from her two favorite people (hubby and I). We spent the rest of our day playing with her classmates and teaching (read: her teacher knew I taught and let me take over while she had a break--the woes of being a school teacher before Christmas). We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the kids and when it was all over we got to take our favorite six year old home as she chatted away about the events we missed BEFORE we got to her school.
When we weren't off shopping or playing we took Amelia to Christmas shows and dinner theatres with my Papa. While taking cutesy family pictures since everyone assumed as much anyway.
Though most of our days were spent in sweatpants and t-shirts lounging and laughing, a large bulk of our first few days at home were usually spent with Amelia's arms wrapped tightly around one of us and we wouldn't want it any other way.
