The countdown to Christmas has been going for about 56 days (for me at least) and I've been lobbying for our minimal Christmas decorations to go up for quite a while (read: before the 56 day countdown began). I guess it was for the best that we didn't have all of our favorite stuff up when the fire happened (cleaning soot off of a Christmas tree? no thanks) but now it's up and it's been feeling more and more like Christmas everyday. I just LOVE it! 

Having our Christmas cards arrive also helps with the Christmas spirit, I'd say. They're just gorgeous and they've been printed on 100% recycled paper and reclaimed fiber--they're great. Can't wait to send them!

In other news, one more week until finals--then we get to go home! I can't believe the semester is already over, but I'm definitely not complaining. Only one more to go before we leave for law school! Hooray!
