We finally have wedding pictures in our home! 

Hooray!

We also finally have a soot free home!!! 

YAY!

I still can't believe someone set a truck on fire in our parking garage, crazies. Luckily, we have superb landlords and things were rolling as soon as the flames were put out. It's nice to have an incredibly clean home--it's weird knowing someone else(s) did it though...and even more weird to have come home whilst they were cleaning it. Awkward. Incredibly so. [little story: I came home around 2pm after being gone since 10 and picking up the hubbison from work and doing a little bit of switcharoo work on campus thinking that no one would be in my home only to open the door to about 10 women in my apartment. I was overcome by the smell of cleaning products when I first walked in, thinking that was the cause of my confusion I was startled to find out that there were a bunch of women in my apartment and my furniture had been moved (so as to clean the walls properly to remove all soot debris) and then I realized the smell was just keeping me from passing out (or was it causing me to feel as though I could?) it was incredibly awkward to be in the apartment while a bunch of women were there to clean it, I just didn't feel right staying so I grabbed our wedding photo cd and a ginger ale and bolted out the door..maybe that was rude?] I guess it's not that awkward but it just didn't feel right to me to have other people there cleaning my apartment and me staying. So I went to the photo shop and printed some goodies out. 

I'm so excited to finally have wedding pictures in our home. Pictures don't make the "difference" but they do serve as a reminder that you ARE married and that we were able to make THAT happen so if we put our minds to it, we really can make ANYTHING happen. For real. [I don't care how silly that sounds--it's true]. And one day I'll update this so often it'll make my head spin.
