Blessed. @ 11:48 AM

It's come to my realization that I've been quite bitter unpleasant critical lately, I'll blame my hubbs (seriously, not all English Majors are critics--especially the ones that want to be teachers--but lawyers, yeah, they're serious critics) but will recognize that I still had to let his influence influence me. whoops.

However, I found out today that all I really need to be "me" again is a nice walk to the Provo Farmer's Market, some fresh produce, a fall scented candle and the temple announcements by President Monson. Ah, what a dreamy morning. The cherry on top of this beautiful morning actually occurred when the new temple sites were announced: Paris, France, Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Durban, South Africa, as well as one in Columbia and Star Valley, Wyoming. All of these announcements were very exciting but the one that was most exciting happened to be the announcement of the Provo, Utah Tabernacle Temple. So incredibly exciting.

It may not sound exciting but the Provo Tabernacle caught fire last year on my birthday (Dec 10) and suffered quite a bit of damage. Recently the tabernacle has been "under construction" as a process to save it has been under way but no one really knew what was going down until the church announced today that it was to be restored and built as a temple. It's really such a great blessing to be in Provo, literally five blocks from this temple and know that it's going to become another House of the Lord.
This is an artists rendering of what the temple should look like when it's completed. I hope that we're still out here when it opens because I'd absolutely LOVE to have the chance to see it and go through it before we move. I know I complain about Utah and sometimes I complain about living around a bunch of "Mormons" but it really is a great blessing to know that the Lord is placing another temple in this little city and that I am a part of this great announcement. To think I could literally walk to the temple in as short as 15 minutes really is mind-boggling and so exciting. Hooray for conference weekend!!!
