an apple a day the revolutionary way @ 11:03 PM
I was at work when I received a few text messages from Garrison, one of them contained the simple sentence/message: "Steve Jobs died tonight!" When I read that message I really was shocked. It made sense, I read about his stepping down from CEO of Apple and the reasons why (as if I really deserved to know why he had made that decision) and really felt terrible for a man that has been so generous and loving to people to experience such pain and exhaustion that he could no longer remain the CEO of Apple. I'd never consider myself a raving Apple fan, though I won't own another PC as long as I live, I would consider myself an Apple loyalist and I'm definitely a devout Pixar watcher--both of these were made possible because of Steve Jobs, Thanks you Mr. Jobs.

I didn't cry. I didn't ask "how" this could happen. But I did think, "Wow, you were suffering quite a bit, Mr. Jobs, and you didn't complain. You didn't tell anyone that you weren't going to present the MacBook Air or the iPad or the iPhone, even though you had lost a lot of weight and had undergone chemo, you were excited and driven to see the excitement and enthusiasm wrought by your creations --all the while being in immense pain. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for showing us that strength is possible. Thank you for your genius, Mr. Jobs"
