It's that time of year again where the mornings are cold, almost too cold to go without pants/long sleeves, and the afternoons are warm, too warm for pants/long sleeves. I'm not a fan of this time of year. It's similar to the in between stages of growing your hair out from a short pixie cut or for those with longer locks (though I can't relate) the almost at shoulder length but not quite phase (I've heard it's horrendously annoying). For me, this in between stage of seasons is like an awkward hair stage-- you don't know what to do with it so you try to style it in the cutest way possible but it ends up looking even more awkward as the day wears on. Here's to fall (though not to winter, he can stay as far away as possible for as long as possible). I'm looking forward to a comfortable fall, one full of crisp air and sunny afternoons that don't make you sweat--I doubt I'll get the dream fall I'd love to have, but I'm being hopeful.
