FacePalm @ 11:48 PM
This week has literally destroyed me. I am waving my figurative "white flag" because all of my whites are currently in the wash and the towels are drying so I'm left with only figurative analogies. Meh.
I never thought I'd see the day where struggling with fighting kids would be more appealing to me than taking a test in the testing center--but that day has arrived (it was actually a few days ago I just have been in denial ever since it's arrival).
Standardized tests just make me anxious. Multiple choice tests are just their annoying aunts (the ones you're anxious about but only see once or twice a year so you tend to forget how anxious they really make you until your right in front of them and then it all comes RUSHING back to you--the anxiety that is) that pinch your checks and leave you feeling sore all over (even though only your face got attacked) and slightly confused as to why you're sore all over.
Welcome to my life this week--it was the pits. But now it's over and I'm sore all over but slightly relieved that it's finally come to an end (I say slightly because the relief didn't rush over me right away when I saw my test scores but I don't even care anymore).
I also got my hair done today and had the chance to be pampered before my final test at the testing center commenced this evening. I'm thrilled with the way it turned out and feel confident in my hair dresser in Provo, but find myself still longing for my chair back in Mesa (one day).
Now, to get some much needed sleep and to throw my books under the bed for the weekend (a decision I might regret next week) and to enjoy the wonderful weekend of
general conference. Enjoy!!!
