That's right, folks.
Garrison and I have decided to go organic.
It was almost mutual. We're both still saying to ourselves:
"well, it's expensive--but it's better for you--but still a bit much"
as we walk up and down the aisles of our grocery stores.
We have this dream that if we keep this up now then when we
have kids we'll just be used to spending the extra money for food
that we know is good for us and for our kids.
The decision was really a no brainer for us, considering all of my
health problems as of late. We figured it was best for us to try it out.
We went to the grocery store to get the goods for our first meal.
Tomorrow nights menu is:
organic salad
Yumo. I can't wait. Really. I'm not just saying that to be one of
those girls that tries to act as though she loves to eat salads because
it makes her look less fat--I'm a chubby person at heart.
I love to eat candy and chips and anything oozing cheese
(all within reason, most of the time)
but there's nothing better than a really crisp, fresh, tasty salad.
That's what I was craving and Garrison was excited for it.
I can't wait. I'm scared of purchases that will be more uh..
deep in our wallets, but I'm happy that it will potentially have
a great effect on my health and a more expensive food bill
is worth one less surgery for a condition I wasn't aware I had.
I'll make sure to let ya know how it goes.
