Babies R Us Or..Toddlers?

Regardless, we've got em.

Two of em. Twinners.

This weekend only.

We're babysitting two kiddos from my ward back home.

Let me break down their schedule:

Movies at 5 & Dinner at 530

More movies...followed by potty time until 630

(then they should be out no later than 7--said mom)

wrongo.

How hard can it be to watch two almost 4yr olds?

Apparently, harder than we thought.

Here's what we've learned so far:

(keep in mind we're both the oldest, oh and I'm a teacher)

I like Disney movies, really. I just think our DVD player

hates them now...it's been running Toy Story for too long.

Kids eat anything. Really.

Movies are a better babysitter than people.

Our house isn't conducive to children falling asleep like mom said.

One bedroom apartments are fun for kids to run around in.

Simple Human trashcans are more fun than toys.

If you lay down, children will pounce.

Watching Planet Earth does NOT put children to sleep...

It's a working list. Honestly, they're great kids. I would never

have been "good" if I was dropped off at some strangers house.

I would've screamed and cried "I WANT MY MOMMY!"

These guys didn't do that once. 

We've definitely become "newly weds" and I'm fairly

certain that my title "Older Sister" has been relinquished because

I'm not so used to having more than "just us" in the house for 

extended periods of time. I am a bit cramped with all of us here.

We'll see if it gets better. For now I've got a migraine. 

I sure hope those kiddos stick to their schedule tonight.
