in the spirit of giving...Thanks! @ 11:49 AM
I'm not sure what it is-maybe it's the brisk air that is at a high, high temperature of 18 degrees or the slow burning candle that is illuminating the room while scenting it too-but something has me in the mood for Thanksgiving! So many wonderful things have happened this year and I'm so grateful for the happiness that all of those things have brought me! I'm a terrible blogger and maybe, just maybe, that will all change one day..until then I'll let the pictures tell the story of the greatest year of all time:
I moved to Utah and now I go to BYU!
I temple hopped with my friends.
I met Garrison, again. We fell in love.
I took him to my favorite temple.
He met some of my favorite people.
We temple hopped together.
Then we showed off our crafty sides with one another.
And with our friends-Leslie was pregnant and now she's a mom!
We introduced her to TOMS and she's as big of a fan as we are.
We threw colored chalk at one another.
We went back to my favorite temple for my friends wedding.
And played in the pool together.
I met his family and loved them instantly. I left Utah to go back to Virginia for EFY to be a counselor, best summer of my life.
You guessed it! Best summer of my life because Garrison asked me to be his wife-at EFY (SVU) where we met 5 years ago, do you remember? I sure do! Mom even had the cake ready for me to say "YES!"
Had a surprise Bridal Shower. Seriously, super surprise..like I had just gotten my hair done and drove 5+ hours to get home wearing my pj's to bring my Mom a 'coke' at the church, surprise! It was pretty spectacular.
Garrison came home to Delaware and met my family, they love him!
I received my endowments at the DC Temple.
Garrison had Grotto's for the first time, he's a big fan now.
I got a JOB teaching at Quail Run!
We saw the traveling Broadway performance of Lion King.
Temple hopped some more.
Wrote out invitations FOR EVER!!!
We met baby Ruby, Leslie's gem of a child.
Took the most impressive engagements I've ever seen...and I'm only slightly biased.
Got my wedding dress.
Had a bridal shower with friends.
Traveled to AZ to get married.
Did the deed and now we're hitched...
So much more has happened since October 14th but I was just giving thanks for the most incredible year EVER...I also ran out of pictures because I've failed to upload any since we've been married. This is also the longest post ever, and since it's the first one I decided it was time to stop.
This has been the most incredible year of my life. Things I hadn't planned just happened in a blink of an eye and luckily I documented a lot of it.
Life is beautiful when you live what you love and I love what I live so in reverse order I live what I love too and that is the best thing to do. Happy Thanksgiving! Happy reading! And who knows, maybe one day I'll become a superstar blogger...ha! I can dream, can't I?!
Thanks for the best year of my life! I have a husband and I'm a wife!
